Irradical

Why is that so?
So it's good to be back on blogging. It was a nice journey having been abandoned for years and I feel like I'm too old to blog for some reasons. It's just that, I need space and recreation for myself, knowing that the one in here (pointing to my head) has a lot of sets and subsets being settled.
To start with, the lessons the past 2014 has done me a lot of things. Considering the lessons I had few months ago. Those "stupid-teenager-actions" so called blah blah that I have done. It was nothing. I guess I'd be more careful about all the decisions I make. Not only for my sake, but for the sake of my family and my...oh so called "future" (quote and quote). Sometimes, life just gets better when you're into bitter circumstances, because life would be very tasty if it's complete, so there's sweets, bitter, etc.
I entitled my blog irradical because my life is to be called like that last year. Tho' it seemed to be very smooth yet it ended what it's not supposed to be. A lot of things happen tho' I don't think dwelling in the past might cause me to grow.

4 Steps To Finding Favor with God

Let's be honest.
If you can get yourself in favor
with the most powerful Person in the universe,
you're going to do really well.
The great thing is that God has told us clearly
in His Word that we can fall into favor with Him.

Here are 4 steps to getting there

1. Diligently seek after Him.
He promises to reward and bless anyone who wholeheartedly seeks Him. (Heb. 11:6)

2.  Search out the wisdom of God's Word.
He promises that when we discover His wisdom we will obtain favor from Him. (Prov. 8:35)

3. Develop a lifestyle of praising God without apology.
The churches in the book of Acts were bold to praise God with their voices and found favor with all the people. (Acts 2:47)

4. Walk into goodness and integrity towards others.
God promises you favor, but condemns the person who is wicked in one's actions. (Prov. 12:2)

Loving Fervently

Loving Fervently
1 Peter 1:17-25

Show love to others.

One snowy winter day, neighbor Joe was driving home down an old country road after spending the day looking for work. He almost didn't notice the old lady stranded on the side of the road.

Joe jumped out of his beat-up old car and approached the woman in her Mercedes. He could tell she was frightened. He smiles at the woman and spoke reassuringly to her. "I'm here to help you m'am. Why don't you wait in the car where it's warm. By the way, my name is Joe."

Joe quickly changed the woman's flat tire, skinning his knuckles and getting dirty as he worked. When he had finished, the woman asked, "How much do I owe you?" Any amount would have been okay with her. She had already imagined some of the awful things that could have happened to her if Joe hadn't stopped to help.

Joe was surprised--take money for helping? No, that wouldn't be right. People had helped him in the past and he was happy to help someone else in need. "No, m'am, you don't owe me nothin'. But if you really want to pay me back, the next time you meet someone in need, you give that person a helping hand...and think of me." The woman agreed and drove off.

Joe watched while she started her car and pulled back onto the road. The day had been cold and depressing, but he felt good as he headed home.

In the meantime the woman decided to get something to eat and pulled into a diner not far down the road.

A waitress came over and gave her a towel so she could wipe her snow-wet hair. The waitress had a sweet-smile even after she had stood on her feet all day. The woman noticed that the waitress was at least eight months pregnant, but she never let the strain and aches change her attitude. The old lady wondered how someone who had so little could be so giving to a stranger--and then she thought of Joe. She began scribbling on her napkin.

When she had finished eating, she paid for her meal with a hundred-dollar bill; and, while the waitress went to get change, the lady slipped out the dorr and drove away.

Wondering where her customer had gone, the waitress noticed a message on the discarded napkin: "You don't owe me anything. I've been there too. Someone nice helped me out the way I'm helping you. If you really want to pay me back, here's what to do. Don't let the chain of love end with you."

Well, she had tables to clear, sugar bowls to fill, and people to serve; but the waitress made it through another day.

That night when she got home and climbed into bed, she thought about the money and what the lady had written. How could the woman ever have known how much she and her husband needed that money? With the baby due next month, it was going to be hard. Se knew how worried her husband was. As he lay sleeping next to her, she kissed him softly and whispered, "Everything's gonna be all right. I love you, JOE."

Thief of my Dream

November 2. Early in the morning, 6am perhaps, I was on my room, I woke up because I felt irritably hot in my room and realized it's brownout. So I decided to transfer at the couch on the living room on a cool place to sleep. I tied the closed curtains first and turned the lights off outside. I went to the couch and slowly closed my eyes.

The only thing I can remember was I woke up, again, because the alarm of our car has gone too noisy. I hesitated to wake up but then decided to see what's going on in our car. In that moment, there's my Grandpa, Mom, Bro and Me in the house. I went out to the garage and checked the car. I was surprised when I saw scratched marks and damage parts of the handle (when you open the car) were totally smashed. The alarm's still making its noise. I told Grandpa and Mom and show them the marks. I don't know but either Mom and Lolo suspected that someone has entered the house, or someone is trying to rob the house. So we panicked and searched, Mom suggested us to stay inside the house while Grandpa is searching if someone is really trying to enter our house because the marks were the proof that he/she forced to damage or enter the car, I don't know what's on his/her mind anyway. So I stayed at home, I lay back to the couch calmly as Mom told us to. The couch's position is nearer on our glass window, then from the window you can clearly see our garage, but on that time the window was half closed and I can see a small part of the outside.
As I lay my head, my eyes gently closes also. Slowly, I heard a rusty sound or grumbling sound from the window. A man wearing orange shirt trying to open the window from the garage. I cannot merely see his face but he is forcing to open the window. I don't know what happen next but thing I remembered that that man ran outside, maybe because Lolo chased him. I realized that he is the man who collects and buys our bottles and plastics. He just ran away and we, inside the house felt secured.
I'm not so sure of what happen next but after that, there's another clash outside and a man who's trying to invade the house. He came from Mom's room. We thought everything's fine now but me, still lying in the couch felt fear too. I lay in the couch facing the TV and Mom's room is at the back. To be precise, Mom's room is in the back of where my head is positioned. Get it? Okay, so I try to look backwards but I can't and I'm afraid. After all that, my Tito showed up.
It was Mom's cousin. He is the one who damaged the car. He is the thief. He was searching for Jewelries Mom had in the room. I have no idea what happen next but when he went out, he asked Mom if he could take the jewelries he had. (Fact: Mom doesn't stores her jewelries in her room, she hides it anywhere in the house for certain purposes). On that certain moment, the robber had taken all the fake jewelries (which is Mom is fond into), and as they converse with each other, Mom is just smiling. So she let the robber, my Tito, take all those fake jewelries and go.

AND I woke up! I woke up with a painful stomach ache that I wanted to puke. I was sweating all over my body while on the bathroom and I feel like it's the end of the world. Haha. IT WAS ALL A DREAM. After doing some private things in the bathroom, I put on Efficacent oil on my tummy, which made me feel better.
I texted Mom then.
"Ma, nag dream ako gin sulod kita kuno sang kawatan, pamilya ta ang nagkawat, isugid kulang simu mag abot kadi. And napangwa ya daw mga fake nga alahas sa room
mo, pero dba way kaman ga store alahas sa room mo? kay somewhere here lang sa hidden places mu gina tago? see you soon."

I know every dream has its own purpose and each of us has never understood neither interpreted. Maybe some, but there's no exact meaning of every dream. Only God knows and I believe that. In my case, I know that God is just trying to poke me for a reminder because Mom and Grandpa isn't home till Friday and He wants me to be aware perhaps. My only buddy here is my brother and we neither eat veggies but cook fried foods and heat canned goods. Well, I realized that there's a big difference when your parents is there for you, cooking for you and taking care of you. I know that God is keeping us safe and we will wait for Mom and Lolo to get back from Negros.
We'll just stay at home, locked the doors, have presence of mind and do CHORES. Whatever. xiao! :)

10 things guys love about girls

1. The smell of your conditioner
  • Guys don’t get to use strawberry-scented products. But they appreciate that you do.
2. Your laugh
  • Don’t cover your mouth when you giggle! Dudes are totally into a girl who knows how to laugh for real. It shows them you know how to have fun.
3. Flavored lip gloss

4. The way you love tiny things
  • From your mini backpack to your teeny earings, he notices all the little touches that make you hugely cute.
5. Your pink cheeks when you’re feeling shy or embarrassed
  • You hate turning red around him, but that pink-cheeked bashful smile melts his heart every time.
6. Your ability to keep a secret
  • When your guy needs to talk about the fight he had with his older brother, you can bet he isn’t talking about it with his soccer team buddies. You’re way more trustworthy.
7. That you’re not afraid to cry
  • So you tear up at the movies sometimes. He might even tease you a little, but he loves to offer you his shoulder to cry on.
8. Your obsession with the phone
  • Hello? Are you talking on the cell phone with your best friend while IMing her at the same time? This bizarre behavior makes you feminine and mysterious. Go figure.
9. The way you dance
  • Even if you don’t have the dancing skills of Christina Aguilera, dudes think it’s sexy and daring when you’re out on the dance floor shaking your groove thing.
10. Your silly screen name
  • Kissytinkerbell87? Luvbugjessica? The truth is, some boys think these monikers are charming in a girlie-girl sorta way.
